Spiritual Development

Providing the tools and support student-athletes need to discover, learn and grow on their spiritual journey with the goal of developing servant-leaders, who embrace the sovereignty of God and are growing in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Spiritual Mentorship

“The Spartan Spiritual Mentorship program was born out of a desire to encourage student athletes to grow in their discipleship capacity, connect current athletes with an alumni or “friend of the program” with a heart for discipleship and ultimately to have each team be discipled through the Bible and time spent in faith conversation. As the Director of Spartan athletics, I am passionate to have the person of Jesus and the Bible be central and guiding within our department. If an athlete has a desire to grow in their Christian faith and understanding of faith and sport, Spartan Athletics is going to be a great home for you.”

- Jeff Gamache, Director of Athletics
